This state isn’t as big as you see it on the map but wait until you get into one of its islands. Even a one-day tour would not be enough to tour this lovely place.

Even so, Hawaii is known for its pristine beaches, turquoise waters, and vibrant reefs. Every year, there are 10 million visitors who visit here. If you are planning to visit in Hawaii, we have compiled the top activities you can do when you reach here.

SNORKEL IN MAUI OR LEILANI MOLOKINI

Without a doubt, snorkelling is a top activity to do in Hawaii considering its clear blue waters and rich marine life.  Snorkeling starts by getting aboard a modern snorkelling vessel and dropping into a safe spot where you can witness a wide array of Hawaiin marine life.  Be sure to book a snorkel tour to avoid last-minute hassles.

Go whale watching

Whale watching in Hawaii is truly magical.  The top whale-watching spot in Hawaii is Maui where you can the Humpback Whales in action from November to May. Seeing the popular Humpback Whales playing with the waves is very rewarding, especially when you are with friends or family.

Play some sports

Did you know that Hawaii offers numerous golf courses for players of all levels? For the best golfing experience, you can head to Lanai’t at the Four Seasons Manele Bay. However, if you happen to visit Hawaii in January you can watch the PGA’s Annual Hyundai Tournament of Champions at the Kapuala Resort. Other popular golf resorts are the Princeville Golf Club, Kauao Lagoon Golf Club, and Puakea Golf Course.

Go beach hopping with friends or family

Naturally, Hawaii is a great place for beach hopping. You can find more than 100 beaches throughout the Hawaiian islands that feature sprawling white sand, delicious tropical dishes, and sparkling blue waters. Some of the best beaches are Kailua Beach and Waikiki Beach on Oahu, Kauna’oa Beach in Big Island, and Lahaina Beach in Maui.

Visit some cultural attractions

Throughout the years, Hawaii has undergone many transformations.  From colonialism to various developments in the government, what remains are the remnants of past transitions. Hence, you can see paintings and stone arts influenced by Polynesian culture, unique healing practices, and the popular “Ohana” feeling. Ohana means family and when you get to Hawaii, you can never deny how endearing and warm the people are in this wonderful place.

Hawaii is totally a nice place to visit. A daylong excursion would not be enough to savor everything it can offer. In fact, there are many other activities you can enjoy such as surfing, joining the Luaus (a Hawaiian and Polynesian feast), and treating yourself with their popular spa packages. Nemo Submarine Voyage 

This is a relatively long attraction with some impressive sets and detail. The wait times can be long, the queue is incredibly boring, and there’s no FastPass, but the payoff is well worth the boring wait, especially for Finding Nemo fans.

Pirates of the Caribbean

It is a boat-ride back in time to the days when pirates ruled the Caribbean. The places feature Audio-Animatronics pirates engaging in swashbuckling mayhem. This is the most famous attractions at Disneyworld.

Indiana Jones Adventure

This is a thrilling ride aboard a transport vehicle deep into the Temple of the Forbidden Eye on a daring journey in search of unimaginable rewards. Along the way you’ll incur the wrath of Mara, who will force you to encounter caverns of bubbling death, screaming undead mummies, erupting lava, evil wraiths, and giant snakes.

Everything about this attraction is excellent. This attraction is incredibly famous and routinely has long waits, making it a great use of FastPass.

Space Mountain

It is a dark rollercoaster through space. After going on a nearly two-year hiatus while the Hyperspace Mountain Star Wars overlay was added, the classic attraction is back! There’s some cooling theming here, a blast-off tunnel, and on-board music to spice up the experience. This is a FastPass attraction, and it’s highly recommended that you utilize it. 

Haunted Mansion

No further explanation should be necessary; if you aren’t familiar with the premise of the Haunted Mansion, you’re probably living under a rock. Die-hard Haunted Mansion fans will disagree, but the vast majority of guests won’t notice many differences. It’s awesome.

Matterhorn

This rollercoaster through the yeti-guarded mountain is an enchanting place that most guests will enjoy a lot. The Matterhorn received some new show scenes that are relatively cool. FastPass is now available at the Matterhorn, and it’s a good use of FastPass to avoid long waits.

Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln

This attraction is a hybrid film and Audio-Animatronics performance by the famous U.S. President. It incorporates some of the best elements of Hall of Presidents and the American Adventure at Walt Disney World, including my personal favorite, the song “Golden Dreams.” Many guests, mostly communists, find this attraction annoying.

Jungle Cruise

Jungle Cruise is a boat ride through the rivers of Adventureland that encounters hippos, lions, and piranhas, among other animals and natives, along the way. However, the real highlight here is the non-stop zingers of the skippers who pilot the boats. 

Fantasmic! 

This is a musical battle between the forces of good and evil set in Mickey’s dreams with stunning effects, including pyrotechnics, water, lasers, fire, and an enormous dragon if you’ve seen Fantasmic! At Walt Disney World, you haven’t seen Fantasmic!

It doesn’t matter if you are new to touring or if you are an experienced tourist. There are some mistakes that we all are making. Mistakes that can cost us a lot of money and that can make us not enjoy our travel as much as we hoped for. Buying food near top tourist attractions 

You are visiting all the top tourist attractions and then you feel hungry. So, you are looking for the nearest restaurant or café where you can purchase a meal or sit down to eat.

This is a big mistake. These cafes and restaurants that are situated near tourist attractions are the most expensive. And, only if you have an unlimited amount of money, this isn’t a good idea. You are wasting a lot of money on just food and drinks. Plan your day, making sure that you are eating lunch and dinner away from the attractions. 

Exchange money at an airport

When we are traveling from one country to the next, we need to exchange money. From the one currency to the next. It is so easy to do it at different airports. Then, you don’t need to worry about finding a bank where you can exchange currencies.

However, this is the worst place where you can exchange currencies. The rates at airports are really bad, and you are going to throw a lot of money away. It is much better to use your ATM card or Credit card. You can always withdraw money in the right currency. Much better than to exchange money at the airport. 

Using taxis instead of public transport

Many of us are afraid to make use of public transport. Because of what we are reading on the internet and on the news. However, another money wasting thing that we are all doing. Taxis are asking a lot higher prices than making use of public transport. Not all countries in the world have dangerous public transport. You might just want to do some research to ensure that you are using safe transportation, but not using private taxis as well.

These are mistakes that tourists are making all over the world, each and every day. Now, you can avoid making these mistakes, by knowing that this is mistakes to be made. You can save a lot of money, by knowing where you can save money and the things that most tourists are doing wrong when it comes to making choices in another, a foreign country.
